
In the Connecticut Lab, there are 18 Apostolic churches ministering to within an area no further than 2 1/2 hours between the most distant points. We are exploring a means to provide opportunities for
intensive inter-session missions experience, and the occasion to forumlate lasting relationships and a shared vision for the mission to Connecticut.
When God wanted to impact the course of course of history buy faith, He moved a man of faith, Abram,
from one of the richest areas of know civilization. Abram came a rich man from UR, and was transformed by God's grace
through his faith in to the fountain of blessings for the barbaric and sin-torn world. He brought the faith vessel where it could be used for
righteousness under God's guidance.
When the king of Syria wanted to destroy the power of the 10 Northern Tribes (Samaria), he imported people who had no
regard for the God of Israel, or his precepts into the area. Many adherants to YAWEH-istic monotheism were forcibly resettled in other areas, but
having established patterns of compromise, their influence was completely unfelt in those remote areas. Hence, powers of darkness
made progress. They brought the corruption which served to destroy the improperly maintained heritage permanently.
When God determined to bring salvation to earth, it was by "missionary journey: as the "man from heaven" appeared. In fact, God was manifest in the flesh,
it would appear to us, a great distance from his origins in Eternal Glory. Jesus brought
the offering needed to the area in need of transformation!
When God determined that the Church should reach into all the world with the saving message of Jesus' name and the giftr of the Holy Ghost (Matt 16:15-16), a number of such
ventures occured. Notably,
Apostolic Reseach Laboratory is the concept of giving Christian Young people an oportunity to labor in the harvest in a nearby, ideal environment.
Those who are equally yoked together in a Bible School environment come from the fire-filled classes on evangelism and the experience of putting their understanding and burden to the test in Home Missions
churches near to their school. using an "Apostolic Research Laboratory", students can spend summers laboring together in churches nearby to one another.
