Welcome Web Surfers!Welcome to our web page!
I am very glad that you found your way here. Let me say a few things.
1. In preparing these pages, I had to make some choices
I could have listed Bible scriptures to show the background of everything I say. I chose not to do so. Most of you who are visiting wouldn't be impressed by that. You probably would be turned off. But, let me ask you ... Say you are sitting with a friendly person who was expounding about everything under the sun, and you gradually began to wonder, "does this guy know what he's talking about? What a disgusting feeling it is when I've been in this situation, and realized that I've met someone full of vapor! Don't you hate that? Well, let me tell you, concerning the things of God, we know what we are talking about. You aren't offended when you meet a highly skilled surgeon. You respect knowledge and capability and a proven record. OK, admit it, it ought to be the same with spiritual things, but lately every imagination seems to have come to life.
Anyway, I'd like you to be assured that I understand skepticism. For 30 years, I studied, contemplated and rejected many things, from intellectualism, through psychology and philosophy, to mysticism and metaphysics. It left me believing nothing, and doubting everything. And, I lived with it... Don't be offended because you see definite ideas. I think you respect that. So, let's go on.
2. What is it you need in life? What are you looking for?
Everyone is not equally interested in all things, nor does God intend for it to be that way. Some are inclined to artistic expression. Some are "people oriented". Some are more withdrawn, and contemplative by nature. What are you? Whatever you are, God had a hand in designing your unique personality. But whatever else you are, and whatever needs you have I can tell you for certain:
It was meant for you to come to know God in the relationship of salvation
God has and IS the answer to fulfilling your deepest needs
When you become aquainted with the reality of Pentecost, and the Apostolic people, you will find that everyone is different. We are not particularly religious, or especially "good". What we have is access to God, a proven knowledge of His power, and a "sure thing". If you wanted to never again have a problem with intimidation, you might well take a self-defence class. If you look for political power, a law degree is a good start. To get your self into the program for security, confidence, and a undeniable experience with God, Pentecost is the program. It's for everyone. We can help you to get your opportunity to find out about your destiny with Jesus Christ, now.
